Ministry with Youth

We believe that the Good News of Jesus Christ is so important for the lives of middle school and high school students as we navigate our rapidly changing culture together.  We are excited that we get to walk along students on their journey of discipleship!

 

We don't aim to be the biggest youth ministry around and we don't try to be the most entertaining.  Instead, we do our best to create an environment where students will have fun, be engaged with exploring or building a relationship with Jesus Christ, build caring relationships with students and adult leaders, be in a safe space to be who they are, and be sent out into the world to live as God wants them to live.

 

Our youth ministry intern, Jake Kirk, and our youth support team work together to offer a dynamic ministry with youth.  Weekly youth gatherings are typically at the church from 6:00-7:00 for middle school and 7:30-9:00 for high school.  Campaigners, a bible study and breakfast for high school students, is Friday mornings at 6:00am. We also participate in local mission projects, national mission trips, camps, and other activities.
